Spirituality - Your Ultimate Resort

The Vibratory Source

Spirituality1 pertains to the highest, all-embracing realm that rules all other realms. The spiritual solution to an issue or a problem is the final and most enduring solution possible.

The ultimate forces that control our lives, the sources of our destinies, are not to be found in the material, visible dimension but in the invisible, hidden dimension of pure spirit.

This is why the Holy book says, "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life".2 The heart is the motive power of the body. So, your heart signifies your motives, your feelings, your vibrations. Your personal vibrations are more important in the determination of your destiny than any other factor (your connections, for instance).

Your "vibes" determine your life (as we shall prove shortly). They create things and conditions out of nothing, they bring about magical transmutations - in health, relationships, status, finances and creativity, to name a few possibilities.

When vibrations are so high and irresistible we call them "divine", meaning "of God", the Universal Source. Aptly, someone has remarked that GOD is an acronym for the Generator Of Diversity...

The Divine Fruits

So your spirituality is determined by the nobleness of your predominant motives and feelings, and is the unseen hand that directs your destiny.

Since effectiveness is the measure of truth, I'll give a few examples of how positive, altruistic vibes seem to open doors of opportunity and greatness, from which we can infer that negative, base vibes close the doors to prosperity.

Take a look at the lives of some outstandingly successful personalities. Did you ever wonder why Benjamin Franklin, eminent American statesman and philanthropist, spent so much energy in the cultivation of virtues? Could there be a relationship between this lifestyle and his personal fortune? Could this have been the secret foundation of his phenomenal personal success?

Note what another successful person, Robert Kiyosaki, had to say as part of his recommended process to develop your God-given capacities in his bestseller Rich Dad Poor Dad:

"There are powers in this world that are much smarter than we are. You can get there on your own, but it's easier with the help of the powers that be. All you need to be is generous with what you have, and the powers will be generous with you..."

Maybe now you understand why John D. Rockefeller was such a generous giver. From his very first paycheck, Rockefeller tithed ten percent of his earnings to his church and went on to become a notable humanitarian and philanthropist. Rockefeller believed his religious conviction to be the source of his success. And to say that it worked for him would be a gross understatement!

So your spirituality or, predominant feeling vibrations, can either be beneficial or inimical to your well being. If, out of ignorance or wickedness, you let yourself be a vessel for the base vibrations of hatred, jealousy, anger and such, they would only worsen your condition and take you deeper into the abyss of limitation, suffering and pain.

However, we are interested in the highest, noblest divine vibrations. We want to free ourselves from all undesirable conditions through intensifying their manifestation in our lives. We want to produce these divine fruits of the Holy Spirit, through a process of self improvement, to achieve the transformation of our lives.

Only thus can we harness the nine archetypal forces or vibrations on the Tree of Life and access our Inner Kingdom of bliss. Says the Holy Book, "…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law".3 This simply means that if you possess these virtues no obstacles can stand in your way - for you would transcend all known limitations.

Tests, Trials, Obligations

However, your resolve would be tested and you would have to learn and pass through the trials of life. For only by this means would you awaken to your divine obligations.

Yes, obligations. Providence did not bless us with higher faculties such as we possess just for the purpose of living a selfish, animal existence. You are to function as "the salt of the earth", "the light of the world". You are to "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven".4

Our troubles and pains are with us because we fail in these obligations. Sadly, many of us are spiritually asleep instead of serving God and Man. How else do you wake up a sleeping person than by beating him or her? This is exactly what is happening. Nature afflicts us with pain and discomfort in order to wake us to a consciousness of our spiritual obligations. Consider these quotes by Carl Gustav Jung, eminent Swiss psychologist:

"There is no birth of consciousness without pain..."

"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate..."

"The sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being..."

The pains and afflictions in our lives would greatly lessen, if not cease, once we live the lives of the spiritually awake. The proof that we are awake is the work that we do, the positive vibrations we radiate.

"Like the light in the dark of dismal night, let your self stand out as glowing, warm and welcome..." - Validivar

Kingdom, Power and Glory.

All our lives we have been taught to cultivate virtues and shun vices. We have been told to love rather than hate, to be faithful and courageous rather than cowardly, to be modest rather than proud, to be generous rather than selfish, gentle rather than brutal and so on. Could it be that our teachers and forebears intuitively sense that these morals are the very qualities we need to master our circumstances?

We need not beat about the bush on this. It is clearly written in in some of the sacred books. For instance, in the Bible we find: The mission of this website is to give a clear understanding of the importance and esoteric meanings of the above-listed virtues and to offer resources to aid us in cultivating them in ourselves for the purpose of overcoming limitations and attaining personal success. We shall come to see how all the known principles of high achievement are derivatives of the "fruit of the Spirit" mentioned above and learn to utilize these metaphysical keys, to reap a harvest of abundant happiness and fulfillment through bearing these nine “fruits”.

Here's a citation from another holy book:

“Build up virtue, and you master all.
When you master all, no one knows your limit.
When no one knows your limit, you can maintain a nation.
When you maintain the matrix of a nation, you can last long.
This is called making the root deep and the basis firm, the Way of long life and eternal vision.”

- TAO TE CHING

1 Please, our discussion of spirituality refers to inner attitudes rather than religious affiliations or preferences. In this context, it may be defined as the quality or condition of showing great refinement and concern with the higher things in life, in contrast to material things.

2 - Proverbs 4:23

3 - Galatians 5:22, 23

4 - Matthew 5:13, 16
