Nurturing Idealism

You can nurture the spirit of high idealism in your personality through habitually contemplating these viewpoints:

1. Realize that however lofty you achievement may be, it can be exceeded, it can be done better. Records are set to be broken. Accomplishments are remembered to be superseded. The best is yet to come.

2. Realize that you are a tool or channel for the expression of Infinite Intelligence. So claim not the credit for your attainment. Rather, be thankful for the privilege and assistance you had to perform with excellence. Many may have worked harder than you, many may have been smarter than you - yet never enjoyed their desired attainment or recognition. you were chosen for the attainment because you were a willing tool for the Infinite Intelligence. Remain loyal to the Highest One!

3. Since most accomplishments are the result of working with Sound ideas - and ideas are gifts that come to your consciousness from the higher realms. It follows then that if you maintain a happy attitude of gratitude to God (or, Infinite Intelligence) for the ideas given you, while remaining humbly receptive for more inspiration and ideas, you set yourself up to achieve far more than you have.

4. Your greatest achievements often happen through the phenomenon of synchronicity. That is, things happen in your life because they have a meaning corresponding to your dominant mental/psychic state at the time. Mind is the cause - not you - so take not the credit for it.

5. Finally, by realizing that success is a journey and not a destination you can avoid the trap of the hubris and complacency of "having arrived". Just continue your journey for you cannot tell how much further you may be privileged to go...
